The Huawei Nova Y63 is a well-constructed phone that aims for strength, but doesn’t go so far as to make it awkward to hold. The design given to the phone is from high-grade polycarbonate, that not brings durability but also reduces weight as there will be less chances of cracking compare to others phones who have glass back panel. The glossy back is finished with a smudge-resistant coating, which should offer some protection against the fingerprints and light scuffs you’ll accumulate through daily use.
It also makes the Relaxstoel frame feel super-solid in the hand, with no movement/creaks of the material when pressure is exerted, which will help in part due to those thoughtful engineering practices. Its big screen is a bit easier to handle with the slightly curved-in edges that also make it more comfortable to carry. The keys are tactile and clicky though there’s a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric security that doubles as the power key.
While Nova Y63 doesn’t have any official IP rating for water or dust resistance, its fully-sealed design is likely to provide some protection from minor splashes or occasional exposure to dust. The build quality, overall, is solid and user-friendly, in a very good balance between cheapness and daily abuse.
