The Oppo Find X8s houses stereo speakers that give powerful depth and enhance sound quality. The bottom houses the primary loudspeaker, with the other two at top doubles as second speaker to create balanced dual channel output. This design provides clear, full sound for gaming or watching movies, and even loudspeaker calls.
The Find X8s also scored top marks for loudness in our lab tests – louder if anything than the occasional ultrasonic ringtones have to be to fill a medium room without distortion. The sound signature also gets balanced with clear highs, good mids and a pretty deep bass for a slim device. The vocal and the instrumental clarity in this one is impressive which would make it an enjoyable number for music lovers of all sorts.
Additionally, the phone supports Dolby Atmos for more fleshed out sound effects when listening on both speakers or through headphones. In other words, the Find X8s ships with Oppo’s AI sound optimization to further adapt audio output (to movies, gaming or voice calls).
That said, the Find X8s does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack although it supports high-end wireless audio codecs like LDAC and aptX Adaptive for top-notch audio quality over Bluetooth instead.
