Huawei Mate XT Ultimate: Unboxing
Pulling the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate out of its box already gives you a sense that this is a premium device. There is a brand (Huawei) and a sketch of the foldable unit which makes it look minimalist on top while behind, you can apparently feel the strength of the packaging. The phone itself is placed under a very thin protective foil, while inside the lid there is only a small slot containing the Mate XT Ultimate.
The bottom of the device houses a neatly packaged array of accessories. The battery supports 66W fast charging, which should be good enough for a day’s use with some of the fastest recharging tech on board in the box itself. Elsewhere, the box includes a USB Type-C charging and data cable; a SIM ejector tool. To protect the foldable display, Huawei will also be including a custom case that has been designed to work with the unique folding mechanism.
You also get a pair of high-end wired USB-C earbuds that practically no one else is bundling in their respective product boxes so you’ve got an audio solution right out of the box without having to buy extra add-ons. In a different level of the box, documentation such as the quick start guide and warranty card is tucked neatly into another compartment.
With all in order, complete with the key specification — 8GB of RAM and not a mere 6 or even 4 — this top-shelf status is reflected in the serious sub-notebooks and that which comes box-fresh: this is a flagship unboxing experience right down to being considered, well presented and containing everything you need to use it to its full potential.
