OS – Huawei Mate XT Ultimate
The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate is based on HarmonyOS 4, which is Huawei’s native operating system to provide a synchronized experience between smartphones, tablets, wearables, and all smart devices. The interface is clean, fluid and seemingly highly customizable to offer a seamless multitasking experience — something that will be essential for a foldable device where screen space is in high demand.
Furthermore, the Multi-Window and App Multiplier features let you open two apps at once (both on top of one another in individual windows), or permit say three entire (and concurrently useable instances) of a note taking application for example to enable further productivity. This is a built-in feature, and the OS adapts on-the-fly with adaptive layouts that change seamlessly as you switch between folding and unfolding the device.
That combination means the Mate XT Ultimate runs off of Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) instead of Google Mobile Services (GMS), with its app store being AppGallery. Users can install apps via the AppGallery, its own store and there is a significant growth in it but one also fix app from third-party stores or APK files.
