Photo and Video Quality – Huawei Enjoy 80

It has already been reported that the Huawei Enjoy 80 will shoot solid photos and videos for its class. The 48MP rear camera is great for showing details and natural colors sometimes, also you can take good photos with this only in well-lit environments. The camera does quite well in low-light situations, with even less noise and also slightly less sharpness however still pleasant enough to view aside from any inherent biases in how the AI works. The night mode will help increase overall brightness and further details are enhanced, too. The close-ups also have good enough details, but they don’t come close to being as sharp or clear as what you get from more expensive phones.

The AI beautification does soften skin tones, but it is not overdone, and rather creates a clear and vibrant selfie with the 8MP front-facing camera. Portrait mode does a solid job of adding pretty decent background blur for simple, casual portraits.

Recording at 1080p@30fps gives some stable footage that is ok for the daily use but there isn´t any fancy image stabilizing so hold-held video will have a little shaky. Recording the audio along with video averts any kind of distortions. A clear audio recording is produced using the Webcam and Screen Recorder.

Meantime, while the Enjoy 80 camera system is not one best suited for professional photographers or videographers its perfectly serviceable when shooting everyday moments.
