The realme Note 70 is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G SoC which is a mid-range SoC made on 6nm. The device comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage for seamless multitasking and storage of social media, web browsing, messaging, and video content.
The Note 70 is pretty good at multitasking in daily use, and in our benchmarks it offered a smooth performance and was nicely to breeze through light to moderate games. Games such as PUBG Mobile, Free Fire and Call of Duty Mobile run in decent frame rates, especially when played at medium graphics. It might not be flagship-level gaming but makes sure you get a consistent experience without heating up a lot.
Due to the optimisations of realme UI 5.0, most apps can work with fast app switching and background performance and there is no lag event if multiple apps are opened. The use of UFS 2.2 storage also adds to read and write speeds, making things load faster like apps load and file transfers.
The realme Note 70 is already more than sufficient for daily users and itβs sufficient if youβre always on a tight budget and still want to try casual gaming. In essence, it is a compromise between performance, efficiency and thermals, but far from the worst you can get in the mid-tier of 5G solutions.
