Lab Tests: Display – Realme 14 Pro+
The Realme 14 Pro+ display has undergone professional lab tests and the results prove that it is a top-level display in the flagship market. The device features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate which promises super smooth scrolling and animations. During our tests, brightness was more than adequate – we were able to hit between 1,500 or more nits, providing great visibility outdoors, even in direct sunlight.
Color reproduction is also a strong point of this display. Lab measurements included rich, lovely color with a wide DCI-P3 color gamut, which should be perfect for viewing HDR10+ content and gaming. The contrast ratio is effectively infinite—you can thank AMOLED tech’s deep blacks for that—and the variable refresh rate helps with power management by dynamically adjusting based on content.
As far as sharpness goes, the resolution of Full HD+ gave us some clean visuals free of any pixilation, and making it easy to read text or watch high-res videos. Response times were also solid so if you play games, there will be very little input lag.
Eye comfort was also verified by tests: The 2,160Hz PWM dimming can effectively eliminate eye strain caused by long-term use, and it passed TÜV Rheinland’s certification for high standards, which reduced harmfull blue light effectively.
Overall I would say that in terms of lab results the Realme 14 Pro+ screen is one of the best in class, only eclipsed by genuine flagship-grade devices.
