Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Features with Controls and Connectivity
Control layout has been kept clean and functional in the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, with all buttons placed for easy reach whether the phone is folded or unfolded. There is a volume rocker and the fingerprint scanner which is securely housed within the side power button on the right edge. The SIM card tray resides on the left edge and can house a single nanoSIM plus eSIM.
Speaking of the bottom, it has a USB Type-C 3.2 port on one side and a primary microphone + loudspeaker on the other. The second microphone and earpiece are at the top of the phone(By which voice is very clear). There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack available on the device, but it supports USB-C audio as well as Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connection options.
Speaking of which, the Galaxy Z Flip3 comes with support for both 5G bands in most countries and Wi-Fi 6E for fast internet. The phone also features NFC for contactless payments and GPS with GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS. The cover display is also tricked out with quick control integration that lets you take calls, check notifications, and adjust media playback without having to pop the phone open.
On the whole, the Z Flip7’s controls make sense and its flagship-grade networking abilities mean that it slots in well at home or work.
Image Display of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 continues to set the bar for foldable displays, with its performance in our lab test further proving that. The primary panel is a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a sharp 2640 x 1080 resolution that supplies plenty of detail and vibrant colors. It spans 120% of the DCI-P3 color space for lifelike saturation, and provides excellent accuracy with Natural mode consistently measuring delta E values below 2.
Brightness performance is equally impressive. The screen goes up to about 800 nits in manual mode and jumps over 1,750 under direct sunlight in high-brightness mode giving it excellent visibility outdoors. Adaptive refresh rate goes from 1Hz to the full wide range of up to 120Hz, depending on what the screen is showing — animations when they are present, power savings whenever things become more static.
The hinge has some resistance, and does a good job of keeping the screen steady at just about any angle, with less noticeable color shift than the first generation model. HDR10+ also makes the cut, which means HDR content looks as good as you’d expect, with punchy highlights and deep blacks.
The 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover display hasn’t been tested yet, but it performs decently in our lab measuring about 1,200 nits peak and great contrast. These dual displays come together to create a smooth, premium and colour-rich experience that both lean back casual or heavy multitasking.
