Macs are personal computers designed and manufactured by Apple Inc., known for their sleek design, premium build quality, and seamless integration of hardware and software. The term “Mac” comes from Macintosh, the original line of Apple computers introduced in 1984, which was groundbreaking for its graphical user interface (GUI) and mouse-driven navigation—features that set it apart from command-line computers of the time.
