iPhone XS Max Global Battery Life, Camera & Display Review

Build Quality – iPhone XS Max (Global)

This phone weighs 208 grams, that a good value for a device with a 6.5-inch display and is able to keep it comfortable in hands. The curved edges and polished finish add to the grip of the phone, which is some of that accidental drop protection.

The stainless steel frame is made via machining, and this flow nicely into the materials on the XS Max. The glass back is a fingerprint magnet, but it does have an oleophobic coating to partially reduce smudges and make cleaning kind of easier. Apple has also made the glass cover more durable compared to its predecessors, which reduces cracking and scratching but is still adviseably casingguarded.

All the buttons, including the volume rockers and side power button are satisfyingly tactile but firmly seated in their frame. At the bottom there are symmetrical speaker grills flanking the Lightning port, making reversible songs and films an absolute breeze.

When its all said and done, the build quality of the iPhone XS Max is a fine mix of elegance and durability — it feels every bit as premium as you would expect from Apple’s premier products while holding up exceptionally well to daily wear.
